Do I need to be a good runner to do this?

Nope, but you must be 21 years or older who loves to have fun. There are plenty of more serious 5K’s out there to test speed and performance, but we will ad a little challenge for you. The Margarita Madness 5K Run/Walk is all about having  a fantastic time with lots of fun to enjoy with all of your family & friends. You can run or walk however you would like! With that being said IT IS NOT A TIMED RUN, BUT IT IS A FUN RUN!

Do you donate to a charity or cause?

YES, we do. The Margarita Madness 5K Run/Walk Supports the WorldWide Push Foundation Inc.  The WorldWide Push (Push Until Success Happens) Foundation, supports academic achievement & building great scholars Worldwide for a brighter future by providing scholarships toward higher education.

The Margarita Madness 5k race is sponsored by the Worldwide PUSH Foundation & awards a $1000 scholarship at each race location to an accredited college student. Applicant must be a first or second year college student.

Shirt Sizes?

ALL Shirt sizes will be available at packet pick-up (no need to register for a shirt size online) 2xl are an additional $6 fee.

Can I run with a jogging stroller?

Unfortunately, the course is not designed for strollers. We must disclose that we are not liable for strollers on the course. However, there are some runners who still come with strollers at their own discretion.

Can I run with my dog?

Only service dogs will be allowed at the races.

Is there an age limit for runners?

Yes 21 and older only

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is $10-$15 cash per vehicle. You must park in the designated event parking area only. No parking on streets or roads or adjacent lots allowed. Absolutely no “walk-ins” from outside the event parking area will be permitted to participate in any Margarita Madness 5k Run events , no exceptions. $10 pre-paid parking passes will be available at packet pick-up. Parking is $15 the day of the event. We donate a large amount of our parking proceeds to help fund our charities.

Is there a packet pick up for the event? How does all that work?

Yes. ALL Shirt sizes will be available at packet pick-up. The exact details of this depend on each city. The packet pick up details are posted to the city registration page within weeks of your race date. Packet pick-up will conveniently be held on race day when gates open. If someone is picking up a packet for you or you are picking up a packet for someone else please make sure you have a copy of their confirmation code & Photo ID (this can be a text, email or print), you DO NOT need a waiver.

Volunteers?

Volunteers are welcomed & encouraged to join the fun. Volunteers receive an Margarita Madness T-shirt.

Are there REFUNDS?

Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds or transfers under any circumstances, however you can use your unused ticket for when we return to your city next year. When you see the Margarita Madness 5k Run returning to your city just email us your order # & location & we will send you a registration code to sign up with.
 
Prices are subject to change at any time. Location and date are subject to change at any time. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Date and location is subject to change without refund issued. In some cases city or location issues will force us to change a date or location. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. Race will continue rain or shine, there are no refunds for inclement weather.

 If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the check in, pick up your Margarita Madness 5K gear, and say hi to us!



Weather Policies

Our participants’ safety is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions listed below are present the day of the event, the event may be delayed or postponed.

Threatening Weather Conditions

The Margarita Madness 5K run will be postponed or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm/Electrical Storm, “Heavy” Rain, other major weather condition.

Start of the Race / Postponed of the Event

The start of the event will be delayed if any of the above mentioned conditions exist. The event will then be postponed if any of the weather conditions persist: Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch or Thunderstorm/Electrical Storm.

Authority to Postponed the Event

The Race Director, in accordance with the city and the local law enforcement, has the authority to postponed the event. If threatening weather conditions force Postponed of the event, no refunds can be provided, since funds were already spent in preparation for race day.
